RHEMA'S DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
We believe the Scriptures - The Bible, including both Old and New Testaments, in the original autograph in the inerrant, infallible and the inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. The Bible reveals God, the fall of man, the way of salvation, and God's plan and purpose in the ages. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 20, 21)

GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT

My Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Grace to you from God our Father, and Peace from our Lord and Savior Jesus. I greet you in the love and fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Allow me to be the first to welcome you to the Rhema Word Christian Bible Institute! We believe that this Bible College has come into existence to fully prepare and equip today's Christian believers and ministry leaders regardless of their vocation to operate with a "Spirit of Excellence," in our local churches as we advance the Kingdom of God down here on earth.

Today, more than ever before, the church is in need of spiritual leaders who are well prepared to address critical world issues that not only effect those in the world, but also those in our communities and those who attend our local churches. RWCBI has been established that the men and women of God might fulfill the scriptures as declared in 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth".

As the President here at RWCBI, along with our Dean of Academics, Professors and Instructors are making preparations with you in mind to enable you to achieve your goals and aspirations.

MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

Welcome to the Rhema Word Christian Bible Institute. I am so glad you want to learn more about the word of God.

The scripture says, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15) It gives us instruction to be students of God's word. And, "As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby." (1Peter2:2) At RWCBI, this can be accomplished through our Core Curriculum program or by matriculation into a degree program.

We are committed to encouraging your growth by supporting your spiritual and educational journey to fulfill God's purpose and plan for your life, and to assist our visionary, Reverend Doctor Kenneth McGhee, Jr. in accomplishing his assignment of equipping God's people for the work of ministry.

In His Service,

Pastor Amelda L. Lee

OUR VISION

We believe God is Spirit and those who worship him must do so in spirit and in truth. (John 4:21)

We believe there is one God, Jehovah God of the Old Testament is Jesus Christ of the New Testament and the Holy Ghost in the believer today. Jesus is the only saving name for our day. (Deuteronomy 6:4-7; Ephesians 4:5; Acts 4:12; John 10:30) We believe in the name of Jesus Christ according to Acts 2:38; "and that the Apostles obeyed the command of Jesus" (Luke 24:46-47)

We believe the Lord's Supper (communion) is a sacramental-right instituted by our Lord. Therefore the Lord's Supper is a sacred right to be carried out by the Christian Church. (1 Corinthians 1:3- 32; Luke 22:18; Matthews 26:26-29)

We believe foot washing is as much a divine command as any other New Testament command. (John 13:4-7)

We believe that there is no contradiction between Matthew 28:19, Luke 24:46-48, Mark 16:15-16 and Acts 2:38.

We believe that the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit in Matthew 18:19 and "In the name" Mark 16:15-18, and "His name" Luke 24;, all mean the same-Jesus. In Matthew 28:19 we are commissioned or commanded, in Acts 2:38 we have the command executed.

We believe ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction righteousness; that the man of God may be perfect, and thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (II Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe the ministry is five-fold consisting of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. The nine spiritual gifts of I Corinthians 12 are for the church today.

We believe that Jesus is coming back to earth in bodily form as He went away (Acts 1:11) to catch away a holy people (His Bride, His Church) who have accepted redemption through His blood by birth of the water and of the Spirit, and are faithful when He comes. (I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Like 17:34-36)

We believe that the church is comprised of those who have experienced the new birth according to Acts 2:47.
